The Green jobs  are at the heart of growth and sustainable development, and provide a response to the global challenges of environmental protection, economic development and social inclusion.

In this frame, the Mediterranean Renewable Energy Centre (MEDREC) and the Tunisian Ministry of Agriculture, Hydraulic Resources and Maritime Fisheries (MARHP) will be present at The Francophone Climate Pavilion - COP 26, Glasgow, UK in order to organize on November the 11th, a colloquium on "Sustainable Jobs for Economic Recovery and Social Inclusion in Rural Areas: Perspectives and Horizon - North Africa Case".

The proposed colloquium aims to bring together relevant  actors involved in sustainable development and green transition projects under the same umbrella, to drive economic  recovery and resilience in North Africa and initiate  inter-sectoral discussions aiming to put forward a roadmap on the horizons and perspectives of the deployment of the green economy in the region .
