MEDREC and the Agency for the Promotion of Agriculture Investments (APIA) sign a collaboration agreement on energy saving and sustainable development

On Thursday, June 17th, the Agency for the Promotion of Agricultural Investments (APIA) and the Mediterranean Renewable Energy Center (MEDREC) signed a framework partnership agreement, focusing on energy saving, sustainable development and fighting climate change, at the premises of the Agency for the Promotion of Agricultural Investments (APIA). 

The partnership agreement aims to promote the use of renewable energy and low-energy practices in the agricultural sector for energy savings and sustainable development. 

Both parties, MEDREC and APIA, agreed on elaborating a joint development plan for the use of renewable energy in the agricultural sector and strengthening APIA's capacities in terms of studies, project evaluation and formulating funding requests from donors.
