Med-EcoSuRe reinforces synergy with CLEAN project to improve energy efficiency of public buildings

15 June, 2022

On 18th May 2022, Naples Agency for Energy and the Environment (ANEA), Italian partner of Med-EcoSuRe project, participated in the 2ndseminar of CLEAN project “Regional measures & highlights to cut emissions and to improve energy efficiency of public buildings” hosted by Regional Council of North Karelia, in Joensuu (Finland). The CLEAN project is financed by INTERREG EUROPE Program with the aim to increase energy efficiency in housing and public infrastructure by 4% through technology, open innovation and improved low-carbon policy instruments.

After an exchange about the state-of-the-art of the project implementation in the partner countries involved in the participating projects, and about knowledge transfer on measures addressing energy efficiency and measures that can be translated into policy instruments, ANEA shared the achievements and actions implemented by Med-EcoSuRe project, focusing in particular on innovative tools for the planning and optimization of building retrofitting developed within the project:

The participation in the seminar forms part of a broader synergy between the two projects, initiated at the beginning of 2021, with the aim of identifying innovative and replicable tools to improve the energy efficiency of public buildings.
