Med-EcoSuRe participates in ICEEE’2020: International Conference on Economics, Energy and Environment

In the framework of Med-EcoSuRe project, the Energy Research Centre (ERC) of the An-Najah National University (ANNU) participated in the Online International Conference on Economics, Energy and Environment- ICEEE’2020 (http://www.iceee2020.com/), on 25-27 June 2020.

The aim of the event was to bring together economists, engineers, policy-makers, industrials and students in order to share and discuss research findings and new innovative ideas in the fields of economics, energy and environment from a global point of view.

Dr. Imad Ibrik and Eng. Fadia Hashaika from the Energy Research Centre presented the research  article "Techno-Economic Analysis of Large Scales Photovoltaic Grid-Connected System in Palestine”.

The researchers presented the methodology to evaluate the performance and techno-economic impact of large solar PV power plants, to be adopted in the rehabilitation buildings within higher education institutions in the framework of Med-EcoSuRe funded by ENI CBC MED programme. In this context, Dr. Imad mentioned that two Solar PV systems will be installed soon in two faculties at ANNU.
